PUBLICATION OF INFORMATION FOR ASSESSMENT ON PRELIMINARY DOCUMENTATION UNDER SECTION 95A(3) OF THE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION ACT 1999 (EPBC ACT)

 Invitation for Public Comment

Yathroo Wind Farm (EPBC 2025/10390)

Neoen Australia Pty Ltd (the proponent) proposes to develop and operate the Yathroo Wind Farm, located approximately 5 km south of the town of Dandaragan, 6.3 km north of Regans Ford and approximately 120 km north of Perth, Western Australia. The proposed action comprises a utility-scale wind energy facility and associated infrastructure.

The proposed action has been determined to be a controlled action under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) and will be assessed through Preliminary Documentation issued on 30 June 2026. The relevant matters protected under Part 3 of the EPBC Act are:

· Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo (Zanda latirostris)

· Forest Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii naso)

· Banksia Woodlands of the Swan Coastal Plain Threatened Ecological Community

Pursuant to section 95A(3) of the EPBC Act, the proponent invites public comment on the proposed action and the following published material:

· Preliminary documentation report (including all attachments)

· Original referral documentation.

The published material will be available for public comment from Monday 10 August 2026 to Friday 4 September 2026.
