Neoen are excited to share our next major milestone. We have submitted our Environmental Referrals for the proposed Yathroo Wind Farm and Battery Project. These submissions begin the formal assessment processes at both levels of government — the Federal Government through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, and the Western Australian Government through the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation. This marks the start of the next stage of review for the project.

The project is now available to view on the EPBC Act Public Portal (Federal Government) and is open for public comment from 08/01/2026 until 22/01/2026. Please use this link to access the portal.

The project has also been referred to the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) (Western Australian Government) and is open for public comment from 13/01/2026 until 19/01/2026. The proposal is open for public comment via this link.

Once this period for public comments closes, EPA will consider all submissions and referral documentation before deciding on the appropriate level of assessment for our project.
